Dream It, Be It Scholarships

a minimum of $1,500. More than one scholarship may be awarded.
criteria
Students must have participated in a SIIR-sponsored Dream It, Be It Conference and been accepted in a 2-year OR 4-year College/University OR Licensing/Certification Program. Selection is based on financial need and academic performance. Additional consideration is given to female students who are working while in school and/or participate in significant amounts of community service and/or school activities.
timeline
January 1 to April 21. Students who attended a DIBI Conference in previous years will be notified of their eligibility in February of their senior year. Students who attend their first DIBI Conference in their senior year will receive scholarship application instructions at the DIBI Conference.
deadline
Electronic submission begins January 1 and extends to 12 midnight on April 21. Incomplete or late applications will not be accepted. Finalists will be interviewed at a date to be determined in May.
Students who attended a DIBI Conference may only apply for the DIBI Scholarship and must use the DIBI Application.

FAFSA Delayed or Missing? You can still apply by doing the following: on page 4, under the FAFSA section, check Return of FAFSA delayed OR explain why FAFSA was not filed. Send the application packet according to directions. As soon as you receive your FAFSA data email it to SIIR at Scholarship-Committee@SoroptimistIndianRock.org.
